From the very beginning we have conditioned ourselves to go to the salon to get various hair care treatments. While it helps to beautify us; we also expose ourselves to various chemicals that may damage our skin in the long run. There are several treatments that we can try out in the comfort of our home in order to enhance the texture and beauty of your mane. From cleansing to softening and conditioning; there are home remedies for all your needs. Dandruff also has several remedies that you can avail of in the comfort of your home.

In order to wash your hair you need not invest in expensive shampoos. You simply need to rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar. It works on all hair types to clean your hair as well as adds shine to it. It also helps to get rid of dandruff. Washing your hair with the vinegar is beneficial for all hair types. You can also leave it in your hair over night for a natural conditioner.

If you suffer from severe dandruff then you must boil water with apple cider vinegar and once you remove it from the heat add herbs like Rosemary and Sage to it. Cover the mix and keep it in a bottle so that the herbs can infuse with the water. Strain the liquid and then add a few drops of Tea Tree oil to the water. Massage the liquid onto your scalp then rinse it with cold water. Repeat this for a few days and you will be able to get rid of the dandruff permanently.

If you suffer from hair loss then massage Rosemary oil onto your scalp everyday. This prevents hair loss and dandruff. You can also use Rosemary scented candles and oils in and around your house to benefit from the oils beyond the massage therapy.

Most people believe that beer is a conditioner; in fact that is not true. The beer will cause your hair follicles to get dry and will also damage your scalp.

Natural hair care tips

Do not wash your hair everyday. Do so only if you have an oily scalp or if you sweat during the day; else washing daily is not required. Avoid blow drying your hair as the heat and the friction cause damage to your hair and roots. You must air dry your hair as often as possible. Also avoid using too many styling products. These are chemical based and they affect your hair and scalp. Trim your hair regularly. This helps to get rid of the dry tips and split ends.
