You must wash your hair every other day or alternate day to maintain its shine and luster. Do not wash your hair with hot water but use warm water, if possible use room temperature water. Always use a shampoo that is made to suit the texture of your skin. Using a wash away conditioner is better than a leave in conditioner as the latter attracts dirt on your hair.

To restore life into your hair make a portion by mixing equal parts of olive oil, honey, coconut milk and sesame oil. Add a few drops of coconut oil and egg to the mixture and blend it together. Use this on your hair daily for about an hour and then wash it off with warm water. No need to use shampoo or conditioner however if the egg is letting out a particular odor then you might want to use some shampoo to get rid of it.
If you suffer from dandruff then you must rub the rind of a lemon onto your scalp before a bath. The lemon juice will help to reduce the falling flakes and nourishes the scalp so that you do not loose hair.
Getting a hot oil massage is beneficial to your hair in many ways. The oil helps to retain the natural texture of your hair while adding shine and bounce to it while the massage wards of stress and takes care of relieving tension and anxiety that leads to health problems.
Avoid using the hair dryer or other electrical appliances on your hair too often. Towel dry or air dry your hair for long lasting results. Avoid chemical treatments on your hair or reduce it to once a year. Coloring, perming and straightening treatments use a bunch of chemicals that harm the texture of your hair leading to hair fall, dandruff and premature graying.
