
Constipation is nothing but an irregular bowel movement or a very common disturbance in the digestive system. A person suffering from Constipation has irregular bowel movements and has problem in passing hard or dry stool. It also creates problem in formation of stool.
Constipation only occurs when the stool becomes hard and dry due to excessive water absorption which a person results in unable to pass out of the body. It is a major cause of much disease as it produces toxins. It also leads to pain in the abdomen, heaviness in the stomach, mucus is formed and is coated in the tongue, loss of appetite, pain in lower part of the legs, arthritis, high blood pressure, cataract, cancer, nausea, headache, dullness in the skin, bad breath, difficulty in elimination of the hard faecal matter.
Drinking a glass of warm milk before going to bed is the easiest evacuation in the morning. Intake of ginger tea almost after every meal is a good cure. Eat a proper balanced diet and a diet containing high amount of fibres. Make a mixture of plum with honey and take it regularly for to get relief from Constipation. In a glass of hot water mix half lemon juice with half a teaspoon of salt in it and drink it daily.
