Natural Remedies For Constipation

Constipation is a symptom in which the movement of bowels gets disturbed. The person suffering constipation experiences difficulty in bowel movement and the stools during constipation are generally dry, smaller in size and hard. There are a number of reasons responsible for constipation including lack of fibers in the diet, dehydration, stress, inactive life style, consumption of certain medicines etc. Moreover, a change in life style and certain diseases may also lead to constipation. As we all are aware of the fact that the medication can have the other side effects and sometimes they are expensive too. Moreover, these medications can regulate your bowel movement for few weeks and after that you again experience the problem of constipation. Hence, we have various natural ways for the treatment of constipation.

A regular use of magnesium with fresh water while rising from the bed in the morning can help in reducing the problem of constipation. Taking 2 or three teaspoonful of flax seeds on a daily basis may also help in a proper movement of bowels and can avoid the constipation. Taking fresh fruit juice also helps in reducing the problem of constipation. You can also Isabgol (husk of a medicinal plant) also help in regulating the movement of bowels. Take 1 or 2 spoonful of isabgol while going to bed in the night and while rising in the morning. This will correct any type of digestive disorder in your stomach. Taking hot coffee mixed in hot milk in the morning also helps in reducing constipation.

All these natural remedies are free from any type of side effect and they are comparatively less expensive. Most of the things mentioned here are easily available. Consumption of cucumber, radish, melon and other roughage containing substances may also help in constipation. Taking fruits like papaya and guava also helps in reducing constipation. Consumption of aloe vera juice is very helpful in reducing the problem of constipation.
