Natural Skin Care from Your Kitchen Cupboard

We have all spent endless number of hours in front of the mirror and in stores trying to figure out which of the products will return youthful radiance to your skin. Though you are all aware of the fact that you are bound to age and no matter how many products you use you are not going to be able to turn back the clock; you must also be aware of the fact that there are a few natural remedies that will help you in your quest to maintain your skin. You may have a bathroom cabinet that is filled with products that you have bought over time and yet you are not happy. You may have also read about the products that you can use at home and yet are not happy. The point that you need to keep in mind is that you need to attack the issues that you have by understanding the root case of the problem. You need to first try and resolve the cause and then rectify the issue.

If you are the kind of person who wakes up every morning with puffy eyes then you know that there are two things that cause this; either over sleeping or not getting enough sleep. You need to analyze the exact cause then and try and get the appropriate amount of sleep. Normally 5 to 6 hours is sufficient. A quick fix to this condition is to use coffee. Just as you drink a cup every morning, dip your fingers in your cup and dab them onto your eyes. By the time you are done with your cup of java you will be able to get rid of the puffiness from your eyes.

We all need to exfoliate our skin and research states that we do not do this often enough. In order to take care of this there are several products however you have the ingredients in your kitchen to make a perfect face scrub. Start with mixing a few drops of lemon juice with sugar and then apply this to the area that you need to exfoliate. Rub in circular motion for 3 to 4 minutes and wash away with warm water. This will help to soften your skin. The lemon also helps to fight bacteria and prevent blackheads and pimples.

A great way to prepare your face to face pollution and stress is to wash your face with a mixture of oatmeal powder, honey, milk and almonds. Massage the pack for a few minutes and wash it off with cold water. This will help to clean your skin, get rid of the oil and dirt that clogs your pores and moisturizes your skin. The honey will also help to fight acne and bacteria that cause pimples.
