Natural Skin Care Tips

Every human being craves beautiful flawless skin that glows and is free of pimples and zits. We all do our best to ensure that our beauty regime helps us to attain the kind of skin that we desire, but, often the products that we use harm our skin and cause irreparable damage to it.

In addition to a good beauty regime one must follow a healthy diet plan and a strict exercise regime.

Getting 8 hours of sleep every night helps to reduce and prevent puffy eyes, dark circles and refreshes your body and mind. This reflects directly on your skin.

Water helps to hydrate your skin. Drinking plenty of water daily will add moisture to your skin internally and help to ward of pimples, zits and acne breakouts. If you have oily skin then water helps to nourish your skin.

Wash your face several times a day with a face wash that suits your skin type and cold water. Avoid using hot water on your skin as it strips your skin of moisture. If you do not have a face wash that suits your skin type then you must wash your face with just water.

After cleansing your face you must use a good toner or astringent and follow up with a light moisturizer for the day and a deep moisturizer for the night. A good moisturizer is one that does not make your skin feel heavy.

If you wear make up then make sure that you use a make up remover to get rid of the make up at the end of the day. If you leave the make up on it will clog your pores and cause pimples and zits.

Eat fresh fruits, salads, vegetables and maintain a healthy diet. Avoid eating fried foods, too much potato and drinking colas and caffeine drinks.

Always wear sunscreen when you expose your skin to the sun. The UV rays of the sun cause shorter term skin tans and long term skin cancer.

Always cover your head when you are out in the sun. This helps to maintain the texture of your hair as friction causes severe changes in the texture of your hair. Also the sun can damage the texture of your hair and changes the color pigments.
