Natural Therapies For Feet With Bad Odor
Foot odor is one of those conditions which tend to be very repulsive and very embarrassing as well. Repulsive for those who get a whiff of your smelly feet once you’ve gotten your shoes off and embarrassing for you as you know that the reason they have their noses all turned up is because of your bad foot odour.
This situation can leave a bad impression of your personal sense of hygiene but you can take a few steps to avoid this from happening.
Firstly make sure you wash your feet often during the day. Washing your feet once every 3-4 hours should be a practice that you should follow religiously. When washing your feet use soap and a soft brush and make sure that you wash the region between your toes thoroughly.
Use warm water and dry your feet well after you’re done. Use an anti-deodorant or an antiperspirant on your feet. It is advisable to use the latter as it deodorizes the feet as well and prevent them from sweating. The causes for odor from your feet are due to heavy perspiration.
Since there is a lot of perspiration it gets absorbed by your socks therefore you should change your socks regularly and often during the day. If you are going to wash your feet often then common sense would demand that you change your socks after each wash. Use cotton socks or socks made from natural fiber as they are more absorbent than synthetic material.
Try wearing shoes that are open. Avoid wearing closed shoes as they only increase your feet to sweat. Wear sandals instead. You should also try and change your shoes everyday and avoid wearing the same pair of shoes on consecutive days. Since your feet do sweat the fabric or material of the shoe absorbs sweat as well.
The shoe needs to be aired out or dried out before it can be used again. In case you wear sneakers often make sure you wash them and dry them out regularly.
