Natural Therapies to Eliminate the Risk of Kidney Stones
The occurrence of stones or more commonly known as kidney stones is common and about 70% to 80% of people have gone through it at some point or the other. People who have this problem are prone to get this over and over again even after surgery. These “stones” as they are called, is basically a collection of solid matter, calcium oxalate, uric acid or other matter which has not got absorbed by the digestive system and thus gets deposited into the kidney.
A person who has this illness suffers a great deal of pain which originates around the right lower abdomen area. There could be also fever accompanied along with feeling like throwing up. There is also a tendency for one suffering from this to pass urine often. This is just the body’s way of trying to flush out the offending matter.
In order to prevent getting stones in the kidneys one should avoid eating the seeds from vegetables as sometimes these are hard to digest and if not digested they get passed into the system. Avoid eating the seeds of tomatoes, capsicum, chillies. If you have had this problem in the past then it would be beneficial for you to find out what the content of the stone was made up of and try and avoid those foods. For example if the stone was deposits of calcium then avoid high calcium based foods.
Another school of thought propagates the fact that a person suffering from this should consume a lot of water. Since there is a tendency for the body to try and flush out the stone, urine may be passed more often than normal it is therefore advisable to keep the body hydrated by having a lot of liquids. It is also advisable to get in touch with a physician as soon as possible for proper medical attention.
