If you are the kind of person who take scare of your skin and yet is a victim of constant acne and breakouts, then you are not alone. It may be a possibility that though you have a skin care routine, it may not be the right one for your skin type or for your lifestyle.

If you have constant acne breakouts then you must avoid using products that are alcohol based or have perfumes and fragrances in them. Most of the products with fragrances either clog your pore or dry your skin. This does not help you or your skin in any way; in fact the damage that these products can do to your skin is often irreparable.

Check the manufacture and expiry dates of your cosmetics. Often we tend to use our favorite cosmetics even after they are well past the expiry date. This cause damage to the skin and can cause pimples, zits and puss boils.

As tempting as it may be to prick a nasty zit, you must avoid it at all costs. This can cause damage to the skin in the form of scars and blemishes that are difficult to get rid off.

Be careful where you place your phone handset and other such items that touch your face. They have the ability to pick up germs and transfer them to your face thus leading to acne buildup. Always sanitize these products before they touch you.

Stress can cause premature aging in addition to damage to your skin in the form of pimples. Avoid getting stressed out in order to have healthier looking skin.

Avoid polluting your skin with smoke. If you smoke then you must stop immediately as the hot blasts of air on your delicate skin cause damage to your face. If your are in a polluted environment then use wet wipes on your face to reduce the effect of the pollution and wipe away the germs that may have settled on your skin.

I have fair, oily, acne prone skin.

I purchased the Made from Earth Rooibos Face Scrub just to try it; to see if I’m missing anything. I’m sorry I didn’t have the guts to try it sooner. :o )

It is absolutely fantastic. I had a couple of breakouts I could not, for the life of me, get rid of. I put on the Made from Earth scrub – with a cotton ball – and I did wait 4 minutes. It tingled, but did not burn in any way. I washed it off and thought “okay, no miracles here”. My face did feel smoother but that’s about it.

The next two days, I kept using the product and I noticed quite the improvement. My chin cleared up and my face was, again, smoother, and more even and most importantly, no breakouts. I did not need to even put on powder (which I did not live without).

You dont have to use a moisturizer after it – unless you have really dry skin – my skin however, did not need an additional moisturizer which i think also helped get rid of the acne I had. Highly recommendend if you are looking to remove your acne!
