Natural Ways to Clear Brown Spots from Your Face

Brown spots on the face are one of the first signs of aging. When you sport a spotless face for years and suddenly begin to show signs of spots on your face you are letting people in on how old you are and the fact that you are beginning to age. No one is proud of aging; even if you do so gracefully. In order to avoid showing signs of aging you need to erase these brown spots from your face.

The spots on your face are commonly caused by exposure to the sun or due to genetics. The main reason for the appearance is premature aging. No matter what the cause of the spots may be you need to understand that getting rid of the discoloration will take time and you need to invest in a few home remedies to help you out.

Do not try to bleach your face in order to get rid of these spots; you will only worsen the situation by doing so. When you bleach your face you will lighten your skin tone and the spots will become even more visible. Instead of bleaching your face you need to rub lime juice on the affected area every night before you go to bed. Let the juice stay on your face all night long. Applying the juice for a few weeks will help you to get rid of the pigmentation naturally.

You also need to exfoliate your skin regularly. Exfoliation is a process where you are able to get rid of the dead skin. It is these dead cells that contain the major pigmentation and exfoliating your face regularly will help to eliminate the age spots almost instantly.

There are several natural remedies and treatments that prevent the spread of the age spots. You must keep in mind that exposure to the sun can increase the spots drastically and hence you must protect your skin against the sun. Use a sunscreen lotion when you are outdoors; this is one of the best ways to prevent your skin from being exposed to the sun. In addition to this if you are spending the day at the beach or are going to be out in the sun for extended periods then you must use a hat or a scarf or carry an umbrella with you to prevent over exposure to the sun.

You can also try using Aloe Vera juice or gel extract on the affected part of your face. Use the gel 2 to 3 times a day in order to fade away the spots. You will notice an improvement in your complexion within 4 weeks.
