If you do not have time to exercise daily then you need to walk for a few minutes daily. Walking will help to strengthen your bones and prevent any weakness. You could also lift weights to increase your bone density; however if you are opting for this then you need to exercise under guided supervision. Lifting weights can also cause damage to the bones if are not familiar with the technique of exercising.
In order to prevent osteoporosis you need to avoid smoking. Even second hand smoke can be hazardous to your health.
Avoid high amounts of fluoride. Water and toothpaste are the 2 most common sources of fluoride. Avoid drinking water that has been treated with fluoride.
Reduce your consumption of red meat as it has been linked as the causes of this condition. You also need to control your consumption of salt. Processed foods, fried foods and meats are high in salt content and hence you must avoid consuming these foods in huge quantities.
