Pelvic pain is a familiar warning sign for both men and women. Some of the common causes of pelvic pain are endometriosis, pelvic adhesions, vulvodynia, irritable bowel syndrome, interstitial cystitis, musculoskeletal causes and so on. When the pain persists for three months or more, then it is called as chronic pelvic pain while the pain which lasts for less than three months, that pain is known as acute pelvic pain. Water: Hot water treatment is one of the best natural home remedies for pelvic pain. Simply, by soaking the towel in hot water and putting it in the affected area can reduce the intensity of the pain. Repeating this for a few numbers of times can cure the pain. After this treatment, a warm shower bath or dipping oneself in the warm bath tub helps a lot in treating the pain.

Quick lime and turmeric: One has to make a paste of quick lime, water and turmeric and spread the paste in the affected area of the pain. After keeping it there for sometime, one needs to wash that area off. This is an effective and very handy way of fighting the pelvic pain.

Herbal tea: Intake of herbal tea is a successful and efficient way of quieting down the pelvic pain rising from ovarian cyst. Raspberry, mint and chamomile are effective as herbal teas in reducing the pain.

Besides these, intake of plenty of water helps a lot in reducing the frequency of the occurring of pelvic pain. If these remedies are followed effectively, one can handle the pain efficiently and without any fuss.
