Preventive Measures and Remedies for Food Poisoning

If you have been diagnosed with food poisoning; then you must take care so that the infection does not spread. Food poisoning is characterized by nausea, diarrhea and fever along with general weakness. You will experience pain in the body and the joints. Remedies for food poisoning

Squeeze lemon juice and add sugar to it; drink the juice without adding any water to it. The strong acid content will help to fight germs and bacteria. You will experience relief within 20 to 30 minutes, it works like a miracle.

Herbal teas are a great way to fight food poisoning. Drink green tea or chamomile tea to settle your upset stomach and to prevent nausea and diarrhea.

The next remedy is really gross but it is worth the effort. Roast a piece of bread till it gets black and burnt. Eat a piece of the bread; it will absorb all the harmful chemicals from your body and ease your distress within minutes.

You can also try a cup of hot water with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. This strong acids will prevent indigestion and nausea if you drink it before your meals.
