Nuts are a great source of energy. Skip the salted kind and grab a few walnuts, almonds or apricots. Raisins and unsalted cashews also boost your energy levels almost instantly. They are packed with energy sustaining macro nutrients and are a good source of protein and carbohydrates tat give you the energy to get through the day.

Who doesn’t love potatoes? You body will love it even more when it is craving nutrition. Eating half a serving of baked sweet potatoes as a mid day snack will help to boost your energy levels to unimaginable heights. Sweet potatoes are a high source of fiber and hence they help to give you instant energy.

Certain herbs have a way of instantly upping your energy levels. They boost your energy levels almost instantly. Take ginseng for example; blend it as a tea and drink it warm to boost your energy levels. Mint helps to ward of sleep.

Stress is a factor of your life that snatches every ounce of energy leaving you physically and mentally drained. The key here is to keep stress at bay. Being stressed out adds to the possibilities of high cholesterol, headaches and stomach aches. Meditation is an effective way to get rid of these symptoms.

Do it every day as if it were a part of your life that is not forgettable. You d not need much to do this. Simply sit in a quiet part of your house. Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Do this for a few minutes daily and you will feel your stress levels drop. This will take away any aches and pains you are suffering from and increase your energy levels instantly.
