
Swimmer ears is a bacterial infection that causes inflammation of the outer ear and canal and it is a itchy painful condition. The are several causes of swimmer ears like while showering, washing hairs, swimming, water containing infectious microorganisms may trapped into outer ear canal and breed leading to swimmer ears.

Never scratch inside an ear with an object , as your eardrum may get damaged.
Whenever you are washing your hair use a shower cap as it will help in preventing your ear from water.
Use vinegar diluted with water to kill bacteria and to dry out your ear canal. Drop 1-2 drops of the solution into the ear with a dropper and leave it for 2-3 min , then tilt to drain out the content. Repeation of this precesure for aound 2 times a day would be really beneficial.
We can prevent swimmer ears by removing water trapped in your ear after swimming, shake your head. Use the corner towel to gently dry your external ear. If you have been swimming in a lake and are prone to infection use antiseptic drops.
