Mental and emotional well-being affect the health of most people. Some may experience some severe physical ailments, however on close examination it was found that they were due to mental and emotional disturbances and not due to actual physical causes.

It would be interesting to study the affects of strained and bad emotional relationships on the health of a person; the solution lies in eliminating or reducing this stress and promoting good health.

It has been found that when one experiences strained emotional relationships and stress in a close and intimate relationships like a husband and wife, and mother and child, these differences tend to make one sick. These symptoms can also be noticed in abusive marital relationships.

The treatment to this ailment lies in the couple going in for counseling or therapy to understand one another and make amendments. However if this seems impossible, the ultimate object to enjoy good health lies ultimately in their separation and both both of them leading good and fruitful emotional lives elsewhere. In cases of such relationships where one cannot totally eliminate the other the solution to the problem lies in minimizing such interactions.

However handling damage to good health also lies in the way one looks at the strained and bad relationship. Strained relationships as attachment insecurity is a great enemy to enjoy good health. Here one has trouble in trusting and depending on a relationship; like in children who experience bad and strained relationship with their parents and those going through mutually bad and strained relationship in a marriage. Here the steps to enjoy good health thereafter lies in eliminating and nullifying the wrong done and creating and cultivating more understanding relationships.

So it is wrong to characterize one as a mentally unfit person just because he suffers ill-health due to bad and strained relationships. It is best to help that person to find ways to live with or get over the affects of the strained and bad relationship and enjoy good health.
