Remedies For Morning Sickness

Morning sickness is a most common problem during early phase of pregnancy. But it can continue throughout the term of pregnancy. The symptoms of morning sickness are nausea, vomiting, irritation, fatigue and weariness. Many factors contribute to this problem. Increase in body hormonal level, low blood sugar, increase in sensitivity to various odors and increased bowel movement can cause morning sickness. Excessive intake of oil, sugar, alcohol and meat at night can initiate vomiting during morning.

The problem cannot be cured completely. But its symptoms can be reduced by using various herbal remedies. Avoid keeping stomach empty for longer time. Foods which are junk, spicy and acidic should be avoided. Vitamin B and calcium rich foods should be eaten on regular basis. Drink warm milk containing wheat germ every night before going to bed. Best remedy for morning sickness is taking proper rest. Try to avoid any stressful condition as much as possible. Put some drops of lavender, peppermint or lemon oil in handkerchiefs to smell it when feeling nauseatic.

Make a habit to go for morning walk to breath fresh air. Adding bael juice to cooked rice and eating it several times a day is useful for women who have constant morning sickness. In all cases keeping oneself happy is best good for reducing symptoms any problem.
