Nausea is a common reaction of body due to some sort of illness. It is an unpleasant sensation mainly related to the stomach upset. Nausea in general is not a disease but it is a symptom of various health disorders. In some cases nausea is accompanied with faintness, a feeling of vomiting and sweating.
Consumption of contaminated food, or food to which our body is sensitive, overeating etc may lead to the problem in our digestive system which in turn leads to the problem of nausea. Sweating, dizziness and consistent abdominal pain are the other symptoms which can be observed with nausea. In case of women nausea can be a symptom of morning sickness during early days of the pregnancy. Other disorders responsible for nausea include stress, diarrhea, gastritis, diabetes, depression, cancer, fever and weakness etc. It may be a symptom while you take certain type of drug or after chemotherapy.
You experience a decreased body energy level after nausea. In order to facilitate digestive system and to avoid nausea, you should chew the food slow and thoroughly. Avoid the food to which your body is sensitive and avoid taking heavy meals. Instead you can take light meal several times a day. A well hydrated body is good for a healthy life and hence you should drink plenty or water and water based fluid for the day.
Incase the amount of ginger, cardamom, cinnamon in your diet because they are very helpful in proper function of the digestive system. If you feel that body has lost lot of water through vomiting, you should take water based fruit very frequently to replace the water loss.
