Remedies to Reduce Exhaustion Naturally and With Ease

July 29, 2009

Hectic work schedules and a demanding personal life often leave you feeling tired at the end of the day. Half way through the day, you feel like you have absolutely no energy and all you can think of is lying down. Does this sound familiar?

Exhaustion is the most common complaint that people have today. It is not limited to adults only, even children complain of exhaustion.

There are a few ways to reduce exhaustion and the most important of all would be a healthy well balanced diet.

Most people don’t realize the importance of food and eat all sorts of nonsense during the day to avoid feeling hungry. When you eat ‘junk’ it does not give your body the required amount of nutrition and that’s one the main reasons why people get exhausted easily.

Firstly, always start your day with a good wholesome breakfast which includes protein. Proteins are the building blocks that are required to maintain a healthy body. These have to be combined with complex carbohydrates which you can get from fruits, salads and raw vegetables.

It is very important to keep snacking throughout the day as this helps release energy within the body. And no, that does not mean cookies and chips. Snack on dry fruits. They are an excellent source of energy.

If your work is very demanding and leaves you with no time for lunch, keep easy to store healthy food items in your desk drawer. Stay away from all processed foods. Eating a slice of cheese with a fresh fruit is good substitute for lunch at times when you are in a rush.

Keep drinking water throughout the day. Dehydration also causes your body to slow down and leaves you feeling tired.

Make time for exercise. If going to the gym is absolutely out of the question because of time constraints, try walking as much as possible during the day.

Try walking to work if your office is close to home. Ladies, keep your fancy shoes at work and wear trainers if you choose to walk. Most of the time, uncomfortable foot wear can you also wear you down.

Exercise releases feel good hormones which help you feel better and it is proven that a short walk at the end of the day actually helps you get rid of exhaustion.

A lethargic lifestyle also is the main cause of exhaustion. Make sure to exercise everyday, this will automatically make you feel better.
