Remove Blackheads without Harming your Skin
Blackheads form on your skin when your pores are open and exposed. This is an open invitation for dirt and excess oils to inhabit your pores and cause havoc on your skin. They form marks on your skin and lead to pimples and acne on your skin. Getting rid of these little pests is extremely important if you want to have a flawless radiant complexion. However while you are attempting to do this you must remember to avoid damaging your skin.
Start with washing your face with warm water and a mild cleanser daily. This will ensure that the dirt and excess oils are eliminated from your skin. Warm water will open your pores and will eliminate the oils and dirt from deep within. After washing your face you need to use an astringent or a toner on your face to get rid of any dirt that may be trapped deep within your pores.
Steaming your face every day will be beneficial to your skin. It opens the pores and gets rid of the excess oils that are trapped in there. After you steam your face you need to take an orange stick and gently remove the blackheads from the surface of the skin.
The blackheads will come off easily if you steam your face for a few minutes. Avoid pinching your skin or squeezing the blackheads out of your pores. You could also use a towel and rub it against the surface of the skin. This will help to eliminate the dead skin and blackheads from your skin.
Using blackhead removal strips is not a bad idea either though they may not be very effective if the blackheads are logged deep into your skin.
Exfoliate your skin with a mixture of sugar, honey and lemon juice daily to deep clean your pores and to prevent the formation of blackheads. Before you go to bed at night you must rub a slice of lemon on your skin; the juice has astringent properties and it will close your pores, eliminate excess oils and dirt from your skin and close your pores.
