The patch of skin which is pinkish or brown in color and grows in place where an individual has wound or sore is termed as the scar. The scar is thereby the skin’s natural way of repairing itself from wound and is considered as the normal part of the curing process.
A lot of skin scars are pale and leave behind the trace of the injury that caused them. A large number of factors are responsible for the formation of the scars. Lavender oil is extremely useful for fresh scars. Take a cotton ball and put some amount of lavender oil in it. Place the ball into the oil and apply it on to the affected area in the morning as well as in the evening.

Helichrysum essential oil works wonders on new wounds and particularly when there is bruising as well. This oil is rich in properties that helps in the regeneration of the cells and also aids in pain relief.
Although this essential oil aids in dealing with the old scars, it is best for fresh ones. Blend 10 drops of Helichrysum with one ounce of rosehip seed oil and apply on to the wound for a couple of times in a day. It not only helps to heal the wound properly but also there is a less to minimal scarring.
