It is released when and where needed. The major role of the bile is to breakdown fat from food. The stones found in gall bladder are generally called gallstones.

When gallstones are formed they completely affect the function of gall bladder they in turn cause bile duct blockage and finally leads to gall bladder disease or infection.

This gall bladder infection should be identified in the initial stage and treated to avoid any later complications. In its initial stage the symptoms of gallbladder infections are pain in smaller stomach.

Women get more prone to this gall bladder disease than men because of the estrogen hormone secreted in women.

Symptoms of Gallbladder Diseases

The symptoms of gall bladder infection is the same for both men and women, so don’t ignore small stomach problems. One of the major symptoms of gall bladder disease is pain in upper-right part of the stomach.

Other symptoms in women include vomiting and nausea, lowered blood pressure,  burping, unwanted gasses , fever, bowel problems, loss of appetite etc.

Usually stomach pain is followed by back pain which occurs after a heavy meals at night.

Chills and Sweating

Chills and sweating are a major symptoms of gall bladder infection. Those people who have severe gall bladder infections encounter this signs.This should not be confused with your regular sweating.


In some cases fever is a very common symptom for this infection. As you know fever is not a disease it’s a symptom of our medical condition. If fever exceeds 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit and comes again and again you should consult a doctor.

For Pregnant Women

If pregnant women come to encounter the problems mentioned above they should contact their doctor immediately without delay as this symptoms may be confused with morning sickness, digestive problems, etc. which occurs in pregnant women. Diagnosis and treatment for this disease should be taken immediately and seriously.

If the gall bladder problem is not so serious it is highly recommended that you can use medications and use pain killers. Do not use such medicines for yourself just consult a doctor before having these tablets. Have a good diet, don’t eat heavy meals at night. Always eat home made food.

If this gall bladder disease reaches an advanced stage then it may lead to surgeries to remove the gall bladder. So in order to avoid risks, do treat this disease at it’s initial stage itself.
