Cleansing your skin is easy. First you need to steam your face every alternate day to clean your pores and get rid of excess oil and dirt and pollution that settle into your skin. In addition to steaming your face you must also ash your face 2 to 3 times in the day. If you have oily skin then you must wash your face every 4 hours, other skin types must not wash it as often as it will strip your skin of the natural oils and make it dry. Cleansing also involves splashing water on your face to revive your skin. When you talk about cleansing you must also make sure that you are taking care of the fact that you are using all products that suit your skin type.

Exfoliation plays a huge role in the health of your skin. Use a home made or cosmetic scrub on your skin once a week. Walnut and apricot scrubs are a common choice though I prefer almond scrubs ass they cleanse, exfoliate and nourish your skin at the same time. Exfoliation helps to get rid of the dead skin cells, boosts renewal of the new cells and cleanses the pores from deep within.

Toning your skin helps to close open pores and adds to the value of your beauty regime by reducing the possibility of wrinkle and fine lines. Use a natural toner like Aloe Vera. Rose water acts as a toner too.

Moisturize your skin well to give it the life that it needs. It helps to lubricate your skin, softens your skin, fights against aging and makes your skin come to life. You need to apply moisturizer on your face, arms, legs and neck. Choose creams or oil as per your preference and skin needs.

Always protect your skin from harsh elements like sun, pollution and unhealthy lifestyles. Use a high SPF based sunscreen during the day. Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine and smoking as they damage your skin. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy foods and avoid fast and junk foods to have healthy radiant skin.
