Feet can smell. Dealing with foot odor is one of the most embarrassing nightmares but surprisingly it is known to be one of the widespread and familiar problems of most individuals. Foot odor is caused from the constant wearing of socks and shoes all though the day. Most of us are unaware that our feet sweat. This sweat is trapped inside the footwear.

Although sweat does not have odor, it creates perfect environment for the bacteria to grow and multiply which in turn produce gases, causing us to have smelly feet. Washing of feet: One of the best ways to deal with smelly feet is by washing the feet in warm soapy water on a daily basis. This performance will not only help to kill the bacteria that are responsible for the smelly feet but will also make the feet fresh and soft. High level of hygiene is a must in order to deal with smelly feet. If required, the individual needs to bathe at least 2-3 times on a daily basis and apply antibacterial soap so as to disinfect the feet.

Changing socks: However clean and fresh your feet might be, if the socks are worn for days together, your foot is bound to smell. It is extremely essential that one must wear a clean and washed pair of socks on a regular basis. It not only helps in the averting of the foul smell of the feet but it also fundamentally hygienic. There are a lot of people who clean their feet everyday but wear back the same smelly socks that they had worn the whole previous day.

Apple cider vinegar: Take 1/3^rd cup of apple cider vinegar and mix it with some amount of warm water. Now place your feet in this mixture for about 10-15 minutes. This method needs to be done on a regular basis. It helps to keep the foot odor at bay.
