In our day to day life, we are indulged in interaction with some or the other person. Sometime we get very bad reflection from the person we are talking, even if the interaction is very soft and polite. The reason for that bad reflection is the bad breath coming out of our mouth. This distracts the person we are talking and at times this is very embarrassing.

The bacteria present in our mouth produce odor which is the main source of bad breath. We should always clean our mouth properly after having meal and after eating or drinking something. In case we don’t clean our mouth properly, accumulation of bacteria occurs due to the small pieces of food left in our mouth. These bacteria produce smell in our mouth. Consumption of food containing cheese, onion, garlic etc is major source of these bacteria. Constipation, gum and dental disorders, infectious throat etc are also a good source of bad breath.

We try a lot of external things to get rid of the problem of bad breath but unfortunately the external attempts are rarely successful. There are a number of home remedies for bad breath which you can try and can get rid of this problem. Take 250 ml of water, squeeze a lemon in it, add small amount of salt and gargle many times a day. This will reduce the odor coming out of you mouth and your breath will become clear and fresh. Herbal tea, especially that of methi (fenugreek) is also helpful in reducing bad breath. A habit of chewing cardamom after having meal is also helpful in reducing breath. Brushing teeth properly twice a day is a good remedy for bad breath.

A cup of hot tea without sugar is helpful in reducing bad breath. If you feel that your problem of breath is really very serious, try pineapple juice. Drinking pineapple juice will quickly remove odor from your mouth and will make your breath fresh and live. A regular consumption of apple is also very help in this problem. Take about 250 ml of water, add some baking soda in it and gargle frequently with this water. You will find that your breath is becoming fresher every time you gargle with this water. The best way to avoid bad breath is proper brushing of teeth after every meal you take. You can also take lemon water after meal to avoid this problem.
