The Problem of Bedwetting

The condition of uncontrolled urination while speed is called bedwetting. The medical termed used for this problem is enuresis. There are basically two types of enuresis i.e., primary and secondary. In case of primary enuresis the person suffering from it experiences this problem of a regular basis and is unable to enjoy the dry nights whereas in case of secondary enuresis, the problem is sort of periodic and occurs in a period of six months or more. Young children are the most sufferer of this problem because they could not realize that their bladder is full. It is mainly because children have an immature nervous system.

The problem of bedwetting can be due to some health disorders including diabetes, urinary infection, anemia, constipation etc. Genetic factors may also lead to this problem or in some cases small bladder size is responsible for this problem. If you are suffering from the problem of bedwetting, you should avoid taking fruit juice, especially for the fruits such as grape, apple, orange etc. Consumption of fresh foods and leafy vegetables is helpful in avoiding bedwetting.

Consumption of nutrients like sesame, almonds, milk and banana is good for avoiding bedwetting. You should avoid unhealthy food like fast food, junk food, tinned food, packed food etc. You should avoid consumption of alcoholic drink. Cinnamon bark is the best thing that you can consume to avoid bedwetting.

In case you are suffering from a primary type of bedwetting, you should not take liquid based food during night. Make sure that you empty you bed before sleeping. Tea made from bearberry and oak bark is very effective in avoiding bedwetting. Taking 250 ml of cranberry juice before going to bed on a regular basis is very effective in avoiding the problem of bedwetting. Herbs like ursi, causticum, pulsatilla etc are very effective in treatment of bedwetting. One of the best natural remedy for bedwetting is practicing to control the urination by postponing it during day time. It will give you a better control over it during night and will be helpful in avoiding bedwetting.

    Parsley leaves, cranberry juice, and equisetum are all said to help control night-enuresis. I had not heard of cinnamon bark, but I definitely think it would be worth trying. Thanks for an informative page.
