Tips for Younger Looking Skin

Time and tide wait for no man and it is true in every form. A compliment about you looking younger can make your day. It can lift your mood and make you feel healthier. You do not need cosmetic surgery to enjoy these benefits; a few simple tips can help you to age later than you need to.

First and foremost; you need to watch your diet. Eat a healthy well balanced meal with a healthy serving of fruits and vegetables. Add dry fruits, nuts and seeds to your diet. Aromatic herbs and spices work wonders for your body, mind and skin. Green leafy vegetables provide your body with essential nutrients and help your bowel movements.

Decrease your intake of sugar as it leads to weight gain and aging. Natural sugars that are available in fruits are healthy; however the added sugars can cause havoc on your skin and body as they disturb the natural balance of your body.

Sleeping for 7 to 8 hours can help to prevent dark circles and fine lines on your skin. It helps to reduce and eliminate stress to a great degree. Exercise for an hour before you go to bed. Walking, jogging, running, cycling or swimming before bed is a good idea. Cardio workouts should be avoided at night.

Follow a strict skin care regime. Go for regular facials and spa treatments when you ca afford to. Wash your face with milk once a week. Milk is a source of lactic acid and it helps to boost the quality of your skin. Wear sunscreen when you expose your skin to the sun as the sun has a huge impact in damaging your skin by causing dark spots, wrinkles and fine lines.

Keep your body well hydrated to have healthy glowing skin. Hydrate your body internally by drinking plenty water and juice and externally with moisturizers. Do not use harsh products on your skin but choose natural cleansers and products. Aloe Vera suits all skin types and can be used as a cleanser as well as a moisturizer.
