Tips to Avoid and Improve Bad Breath

When you sleep, there is a layer that forms over your teeth that contains bacteria. It is this bacteria that causes your breathe to smell bad. In other cases you may suffer from bad breathe because of the foods that you eat or the drinks that you consume. Foods like onion and garlic can give out a certain undesirable odor.

The first thing you need to do to get rid of morning breathe is to wash your mouth as soon as you wake up. This helps to wash away the bacteria from your mouth. After washing your mouth brush your teeth with warm water to get rid of the film of bacteria. Use herbal toothpaste for best results.

Use peppermint in warm water as a mouth wash or chew on peppermint to get rid of breath issues.

If your issue is due to a common cold then use camphor as a mouth chew or in warm water and gargle your mouth. You can also try Aloe Vera mixed with honey to gargle.

Avoid eating raw onions and garlic with your food as they add to your agony. If you do; then wash your mouth with warm water and chew on some gum after that.

Bad breath can be resolved with a few herbs as well. Use a few bay leaves and boil them in water. Drink this water to get rid of your problem.

In some cases constipation can lead to bad breath as the gases from your stomach are emitted from your mouth. In this case you must ensure that you have a bowel movement. Drinking warm water will take care of that. Also, chewing on a few cloves will help to relieve you.

Green cardamom also gets rid of bad breath. Boil a cup of milk and add sugar and a few green cardamoms to it. Drink it either hot or chilled for instant relief of bad breath.
