Tips to Help you Ease Diarrhea

Diarrhea is a stomach condition that occurs when your stomach does not react well with certain foods. It may be something that you have eaten for the first time or something that you eat regularly that causes the reaction in your stomach. It causes you to visit the toilet frequently making you feel faint and uneasy due to loss of huge amount of water.

When you suffer from diarrhea the first thing you need to do is maintain your hydration levels. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices. Orange juice and apple juice increase your energy levels. You can also opt for a sports drink that has electrodes in it as it increases your energy levels instantly. If you begin to feel dizzy means your body has lots more water than it should have, and in this case you must hydrate yourself quickly. Drink a glass of water with a pinch of salt and a spoon of sugar to increase your hydration levels immediately.

You also need to increase your potassium levels. Eat plenty of bananas. They are a rich source of potassium. Also eating melons and grapes help to feel better.

Boil a spoon of cumin seeds in a glass of water and add a spoon of honey to this brew. The water must boil for about 20 minutes to acquire the taste of the cumin seeds. This helps to ease the pain caused.

You must try and get as much rest as possible. The cramps followed by constant visits to the loo can drain you of every ounce of energy and hence a revitalizing nap can help to increase your energy levels.

Eat a piece of ginger for instant relief. Your bowel movements will stop and you will feel better immediately. The ginger can be powdered an ingested with a spoon of honey for best results. It also helps to get rid of the lower back ache that will be an added bonus that comes with the diarrhea.
