You must eat a skin friendly diet to make skin healthy. Skin friendly diet should comprise of vitamin A, B, C, D, E and K along with enough protein, folic acid and calcium. Make your palate colourful by adding red, yellow, green and orange coloured fruits and vegetables to your daily diet. Include mixed nuts, raisins, sultanas and dried apricots and figs as they help to maintain a healthy and young skin.
Drink at least two glasses of milk to get sufficient calcium and protein for maintain healthy blood cells to keep your skin youthful. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily to maintain the elasticity of the skin. Daily cleansing, toning and moisturising of your skin prevents clogged pores and it keeps your skin clean and healthy. Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week to deep cleanse the pores and use a face mask once a week to rejuvenate and nourish the skin.
It will improve your skin tone and make your skin soft and supple. Try to avoid chemical based skin products and opt for natural or homemade skin care products to prevent skin damage.
Get Adequate Sleep
6-8 hours of sound sleep is necessary to make your skin healthy. Your skin tissues and muscles get time to repair and rebuild while you sleep.
