To get rid of acne you need to start with your hygiene. Make sure that your skin is always clean. Normally those with oily skin are more prone to acne, hence you need to wash your skin and keep it clean. Avoid layering your skin with makeup and let is breathe without makeup as often as possible. Use products that suit your skin type and take a skin test before you start using a new product.
Your diet needs to include fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water and juices, both fruit and vegetable. Monitor the amount of oil you consume, reduce it to about 10 % of what you normally do by eating boiled, steamed or grilled food rather than fried foods.
