Remember in order to improve your health you need to stay away from fast foods and greasy foods; these are the kinds that add fats and toxins in your body. The way they are processed, packed and handled s also questionable and hence you must avoid them. There are a few foods that you can use in order to detox your body.

Fruits are the best diet for a complete detox. A complete fruit diet for 2 to 3 days in the month will help you to clean your system and you will feel energized after it. Load up on citrus and fiber rich foods during these days. You will need to eat a serving of fruits every 3 to 4 hours in order to maintain your energy levels. Oranges, lemons, limes, bananas, apples and melons are the best fruit options.

Veggies work on the same manner as fruits do; they clean your system and get rid of the environmental toxins as well. Juices of fruits and vegetables are good option in order to flush out the toxins from the body. They also provide the body with the amount of anti oxidants that it needs.

Cereal and whole grains are also beneficial to your health. They are convenient sources of fiber and they also reduce the amount of cholesterol in the body.

A helpful herb that ensures that the toxins are flushed out of the body is garlic. This herb is pungent and spicy and it can be added to your tea or food. It can be eaten raw as well. Ginger works the same way as garlic does.

Green tea is beneficial to the liver; it adds anti oxidants to the body as well as keeps the body healthy and fit.
