Any infection causes irritation on the skin and thereby some pain in the area of the illness. Infections are mostly caused if the skin is cut, or it stays open. In some cases, infections heal properly and steadily but the left over scars leaves behind ugly patches or white scars on the area where the disease had occurred. Home remedies are best in dealing with infections. However, they may take a bit of time on curing the disease but the healing of the infection is total and pretty stable.Home remedies for infections:

Turmeric powder: Turmeric is known to be an antiseptic. It is also antibiotic in nature and has the ability to reach out at the root of any infection and cure it from within. If one finds the infection in the cut or open skin area, a mixture of turmeric powder and clarified butter on the area will help to cure it immediately and effectively. Furthermore, by drinking the mixture of half spoon of turmeric powder in a glass of milk helps in curing the infection from within.

Tree tea oil: Tree tea oil is the nature’s most powerful antimicrobial manager, which is prevalent and can be treated against almost all bacterial and fungal infections. One can prepare a solution of a few drops of tea tree oil in a cup of water and use it in the affected parts every time after bath. This is a best way of treating the disease topically.

Fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables: Diet is an important factor in fighting infection. Plenty of green vegetables and fresh fruits are essential in the healthy metabolism of the body. These are essential for curing the vitamin and iron deficiency of the body which is also a possible cause of the infection.

Aloe Vera: The transparent gel, which is obtained from the leaves of the herb, has been used for centuries in treating various skin disease and other dermatologic conditions. This gel has curative properties and defends the skin of the lips and other parts of the body from further infections.

Water: One should have plenty of water in order to fight any infection on the lips as well as any part of the body. Drinking at least ten glasses of water everyday helps in flushing out the toxins everyday and in keeping it hydrated.
