The techniques used in assisted reproduction are electroejaculation, sperm retrieval and washing and in vitro fertilization, gamete intrafallopian transfer etc. Sperm is retrieved from the testes by employing the techniques of sperm retrieval whereas in case of electroejacuation, the nerves are stimulated externally to help ejacuation. Sperm washing technique selects the best part of the sperm used for reproduction purposes. In the technique called Micro Epididymal Sperm Aspiration, the sperm is collected using a syringe.
Drug therapy is also used for the treatment of male infertility. It mainly increases the sperm production in male which in a direct way helps in impregnating the female partner. If you find that you are not able to impregnate your partner, don’t get hopeless, just consult a doctor who will help you in treatment of your infertility. He will choose a proper technique for your treatment. However, it is very important to take any type of medicine only under a medical supervision.
