Under Eye Skin Care

The skin under your eyes is the most delicate compared to your entire body. It is imperative that you take utmost care of this area of your face as it gives away your age. Lack of sleep and care will lead to dark circles, crow’s feet, wrinkles, lines and puffiness.

Reducing puffiness under the eyes

Puffiness is due to lack of sleep or environmental conditions. Use cooling products around your eyes to reduce the puffiness. Keep your night cream in the fridge and apply it on your skin at night.

Treatment for fine lines under your eyes

To protect your skin keep it well hydrated. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. An effective way to get rid of fine lines under your eyes use moisturizer under your eyes at least twice a day. Age and sunlight are contributing factors to the lines under your eyes.

Treatment for wrinkles

Several under eyes creams are available over the counter. You may choose to use any of these however you must choose one that suits your skin type. Ever use a face scrub under your eyes as this causes damage to the sensitive skin.

Natural care for your eyes

Place cucumber slices on your eyes daily. This reduces the dark circles and refreshes your eyes. If you feel a burning sensation in your eyes then place two spoons in the freezer for a few minutes and then place the on your eyes. Gently massage your eyes with olive oil for glowing skin. This also reduces the lines around the eyes. Spend a few minutes daily giving yourself a massage. It is important that all creams and gels are used when the skin is moist (after a shower or just after washing your face). Use the tips of your fingers to massage the cream onto the desired areas.
