The sterile and the antifungal properties of tea tree oil helps to destroy microbes that kill acne. This oil is used in shampoo for curing dandruff by removing the fungus from the scalp. The tea tree oil is only used in the skin and should never be consumed as it can be deadly for the liver, if ingested.
