A soak in a tub with warm water offers more than a few minutes of relaxation. A warm bath helps to soothe aching joints and muscles, relieves tension and stress and even helps to soften skin. Here are a few ways to benefit from a warm bath.Soaking your body in warm water during winter is one of the best ways to prevent cold hands and feet. In order to prevent winter chill run a warm bath and add a few pieces of ginger to the water. You could also add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and soak in the water for a few minutes.

The ginger will stimulate circulation and helps to normalize the body temperature. Using essential oils will help to moisturize the skin and keep in soft and supple.

If you suffer from sinus attacks then a warm bath with ginger infused in the water will help to get rid of the cold and prevent congestion. You could also brew a cup of ginger tea and sip on it after a warm bath in order to get rid of the chest congestion.

If you are feeling stressed out or if you are extremely tired then a warm bath will help to increase your energy levels and your mood. Add orange or any other citrus based essential oil to your bath water and soak in the water for a few minutes. This will help to get rid of fatigue.
