Arnold Kegel was very specific when he developed his exercise routine and he was quite clear that to be effective the exercises had to involve squeezing some sort of resistance and that this resistance should be increased as your muscles get stronger. This is impossible without using a progressive resistance vaginal exerciser such as the PelvicToner. And you certainly can&#039;t use that sitting up! It is far more effective to set aside a specific time each day and exercising properly. Afterall, it&#039;s no different to going for a jog or to the gym. Get your mind and body focussed on the task at hand and do it! And if it tightens up your tummy muscles then you are not exercising the pelvic floor correctly!</description>
