What to do If You Suffer with Daily Headaches

There could be two main reasons why you suffer from a headache daily; stress and lack of sleep. In both cases there is a lot that you can do to cure the condition. Almost every third person suffers from a headache. It is disruptive and can hinder your activities. It makes daily chores difficult and hampers your lifestyle.

The only way to get rid of this condition is to improve your lifestyle. If you are surrounded by stress then look at ways to reduce your stress levels. Stress management classes teach you different ways to deal with your stress levels. You can also try yoga; it is an effective way to reduce your stress levels drastically.

In order to prevent headaches during the day you must start the day with a few minutes of meditation. As you wake up in the morning sit on a chair with your back flat against the rest of the chair and your head held high. Place your feet on the ground and close your eyes. You must then breathe in deep. This helps to cure any sinus related issues and also helps your body to prepare for the fast paced day that you are about to enter. Breathe in to the count of 8 and then hold your breath to the count of 16 and exhale to the count of 8. Do this 10 to 15 times. It will take only 5 to 7 minutes but you will benefit from it greatly.

You also need to get quality sleep. You must rest for atleast 7 hours daily. Night sleep is the best however if you are not able to sleep at night due to your occupation then you must ensure that you rest well whenever you do. Burning aromatic scents when you are sleeping will help to create a positive environment; one that helps to distress your body and mind. This will also ensure that you do not have any headaches when you wake in the morning. The best fragrances are lavender, chamomile and rose.
