We seem to invite aches and pains in our lives without any hesitation. Our fast paced and stressful lives have led us to suffer from frequent in not constant migraines. Not only adults but teens, youth and seniors are now complaining about constant migraine pains. Though there are a few prescriptive drugs and over the counter remedies that you can use; you stand the risk of side effects and dependence. In this case simple home treatments can rescue you.

Water is your best friend when you are in pain. In most cases drinking a glass or 2 of water helps to elevate the pain and reduces it drastically. When you begin to feel the slightest amount of pain you must drink a glass of warm water. You may add salt or lime juice to the water; however unadulterated water is your best bet. You must replace your normal drink options with water. It is normally aerated and caffeine based drinks that cause the pains.

If you being to feel the migraine pains or you feel the symptoms of the pain then you must drink a glass of warm water with honey. It will give you instant relief. A spoon of honey when mixed in water helps to stop the pains. You may also eat a spoon of honey on toast or bread.

The presence of anti oxidants in grapes makes them a healthy food and also a preventive and curative measure for migraines. Eating a handful of grapes helps to get rid of migraine pains.

If you have a nicotine addiction then giving it up will work in your favor. You must also exercise regularly in order to prevent the headaches and migraine attacks. A brisk walk daily or aerobics or weight training will help to keep you fit. You can also try yoga to help to fight migraines. The meditation and breathing exercises that yoga preaches helps you to prevent and control the symptoms of migraines.
