Yoga Techniques that Reduce Stress Drastically

When you complete the exercise open your eyes slowly, do not panic if you feel light headed or dizzy. It is normal to feel that way; this is due to the increase in the supply of oxygen to your brain. If you feel stressed out during the day then there are a few techniques that will help you out. Close your eyes and focus all your inner energy on any positive aspect in your life. This could include a good moment in your life or focus on a person that inspires you. As you close your eyes and focus on this moment you need to inhale through your nose and exhale though your mouth. This will calm your senses and once you open your eyes you will experience lower levels of stress.

Another exercise that helps to reduce stress requires you to sit on a chair with your back held upright. As you sit comfortably on the chair place your right hand across your chest so that your feel your heart beat with your finger tips. Now hold your left hand as if you were collecting water from a stream. Close your eyes and inhale through your mouth and exhale through your nose. As you inhale you have to visualize yourself drinking water that is cold; this water is helping you to get rid of all the negativity in your life.
