Exfoliation or in simple language, removing dead cells from the skin is one of the most important step of skin care regimen which most of us tend to ignore and skip. Exfoliation can be easily done at home by using a good scrubbing agent. You can use a gentle scrub once a week to exfoliate your skin.
Scrubbing works wonders for the skin and takes out the dead cell layer on top which may make the skin look dull and listless. Exfoliation also improves the complexion and gives a natural glow to it.
Another way for exfoliation is using a chemical peel for the skin. Lots of peeling creams and packs are available in the market today depending on your skin type.
After scrubbing using a toner can make your skin look fresh and glowing.A toner can be something as simple as rose water or any other skin tonic available in the market. Always go for a herbal toner instead of a chemical one.
Step 3: Moisturizing Your Skin:
The third but the most important step undoubtedly is the moisturizing of the skin.It is the most important requirement of the skin to keep it supple and hydrated. Choose a moisturizer according to your skin type and use it sparingly on the skin every day. Avoid using too much in the night as it may restrict your skin to breathe and may clog the skin pores
Step 4 Use A Sunscreen Daily:
As much as people around you will fail to believe but a sunscreen or a sun block cream is as important for your skin as the oxygen for life. Sunscreens protect the skin from UV rays, preventing them from untimely ageing and wrinkles and fine lines too. You can also use a moisturizer with a sunscreen but make sure you do not forget to use it before stepping out of home.
