Colon Cleansing Diet

Fluids play an essential role in a colon cleansing diet. Fluid consumption in ounces should be equal to half the weight of your body. This diet recommends the intake of fermented foods like miso, yogurt and sauerkraut as they replenish the friendly bacteria required to maintain colon’s health.

You should consume green foods such as wheatgrass, alfalfa, blue-green algae, etc as their high chlorophyll content repairs and cleanses your digestive tract. Other good colon cleansing foods are yeast flakes, olive oil, fish oil, coconut oil and cod liver oil.
