Vitamin B – Helps in transportation of red blood cells (which contain oxygen) throughout the body. Energy creation and protein synthesis is also done by this vitamin.
Vitamin C – It is a water soluble vitamin and is also known as ascorbic acid. It helps in increasing the rate of healing of wounds. Also keeps the muscles of our body in good shape.
Vitamin D – It is a fat – soluble vitamin. It helps the body in absorbing calcium which helps in development of strong bones and teeth.
Vitamin E – they help in the creation of red blood cells in the body. It is also known as the vitamin for oxidation.
Having healthy foods can help the intake of all the above vitamins. There are many types of foods rich in vitamins. Some of them are:
Broccoli – It contains vitamin B6, B7 and K. It tastes best with chicken, fish, etc.
Spinach – It is a good source of vitamin B7, A and K. The best way to have spinach is by adding it to your favorite sandwich.
Milk – it is known as the complete food because it contains almost every type of nutrient. It contains vitamin D, B7, B2 and A. you can have it plain or mixed with some flavored protein shake.
