Including Vitamin A in your Diet

Back in school, we were all taught that Vitamin A, also known as retinol is very good for our eyes, and that we should consume a lot of carrots to improve our vision, and to avoid problems like night blindness. Thus, it is always good to include foods rich in Vitamin A in your diet, so that your body gets correct or moderate amounts of Vitamin A, from the right sources. Sweet Potato, Broccoli, Pumpkin and Apricots are some foods that you can include in your daily diet for the same purpose.

Vitamin A has anti-oxidant properties in it which can help a person fight against cancer, and it also helps to protect our cells. Moreover, those who are suffering from problems of psoriasis or acne will see improvement in their condition with regular and proper consumption of Vitamin A.

The list of benefits of Vitamin A is indeed very long. Consuming it helps people suffering from measles as well as glaucoma, and all kinds of viral or bacterial infections stay away from your body systems. Age spots and other signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles too get effectively reduced when you consumer good quantities of vitamin A.
