Lower back pain is a common complaint among many people. It is usually affected in the area anywhere above legs and below ribs. The lower back is the bridge between the upper and the lower body part. It also is responsible for bearing majority of the body weight. Since lower back is actively playing these roles, it easily get injured when one lifts or twists.
The low back pain may differ in intensity from person to person. Some may have severe pain that may persist throughout a long period. Depending upon the factors responsible for causing low back pain, some signs or symptoms may show up like burning sensation, stiffness or muscle spasms, pain in the legs, tingling or numbness, usually extending up to the area below knees.These symptoms might occur along with the back pain or sometimes alone. Leg symptoms are usually originated by lower spine problem, which place pressure on nerve that leads to the leg.
Remedy For Low Back Pain
Low back pain can be reduced to an extent by taking care of a few things. Try to rest in a relaxed position, lying on side by a pillow between knees or lie on back by a pillow under knees. Avoid staying in the same position for longer time. A heat pad with medium or low settings or a warm shower may give relief to the Back pain.If the symptoms are getting worse or if it exists for more than two weeks, do consult a medical practitioner for the right advice.
