Pregnancy is the strangest phase in the life of a woman as it is a combination of all sorts of emotions. A pregnant women is without doubt very happy about being a mommy but at the same time she can also feels very anxious and even depressed at times. A mix of all sorts of emotions could be as a result of mood swings during pregnancy. This is a very common condition and almost every woman undergoes mood swings while they are pregnant.
The fluctuating levels of the estrogen and progesterone hormones can be blamed for such mood swings. It is clearly not your fault but you do end up blaming yourself and at times other’s for it. Share your problems with them and trust them when they tell you that you are not at fault for your mood swings, your hormones are. Always try to stay positive and optimistic about your health and your baby’s health. Believe that you will get through this just fine.
Indulge in some amount of light physical activity as that tends to release your stress and tensions. Also practice certain breathing exercises and certain forms of meditation to stay calm and composed at all times.
