The loss in muscle weight occurring due to dieting can be made up for by exercising. Strength training by lifting weights, helps to preserve your muscle mass even while you follow your diet regime.

Exercising daily helps preventing many diseases like hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases and breast cancer. Regular exercise also helps in keeping diseases like arthritis and osteoporosis at bay. Exercising daily is also proven to be highly beneficial for women nearing their menopause or going through the menopause phase. Exercise helps in tackling many menopause symptoms like irritability and sleeplessness. For a good night’s sleep there is nothing better than a good workout.

Exercise also acts as a very important feel good factor. The endorphins released in the brain during exercises acts as chemical messengers that cause a sense of well being. This causes the reduction of anxiety, tension and stress and contributes to the overall enhancement of the emotional well being of a person. Exercising improves the quality of life and also increases your chances of living a longer life.

There is no age-limit when it comes to exercising. It is just necessary to follow the health regime which suits you. Exercise regularly and you can be sure to lead a healthy and happy life
