Being a replacement therapy, this treatment does not carry any side-effects and can be carried out effectively. A dose of 50-150 microgram is required to be taken orally before breakfast. Normally, the treatment for Hypothyroidism is carried out through out life, but can be discontinued once the effect is reversed following the treatment.
