Tips To Stop Acne

Acne is one of those skin problems that has a high tendency to reoccur. At no point of time can we be completely assured that it would not reappear.

Hence, it is best to always take pre-emptive action to stop the occurrence and development of acne. After all, who wants to wake up on the morning of a prom-night with a pimple on the forehead!

It is important to keep an eye on what you are putting in your tummy. Learn to say ‘no’ when a friend offers you a bag of chips. And of course, resist the temptation to devour those sinfully delicious chocolates. At the same time, make sure that you are eating freshly prepared and nutritious meals. Chew the food properly as this ensures proper digestion of food and, thereby, optimal absorption of nutrients in the body.

This is very crucial for maintaining the beauty of your skin. Besides, do not forget what grandma always kept telling you! Those 10-12 glasses of water can really do wonders to your skin. And to make it more valuable spike it with some lime juice. Lime juice is a natural detoxifier which checks the accumulation of harmful toxins.

Keeping your skin squeaky clean at all times is very important. And never ever hit the sack without removing your make-up. You don’t need to spend your precious mullah on those pricey anti-acne cleansing formulas. Prepare your own at home. It is likely to be much more effective and that too at almost no extra cost.

Take two teaspoons of fullers’ earth and mix with half a teaspoon of neem powder and lemon peel powder. Add a few drops of clove and peppermint essential oils to this and mix with cucumber or tomato juice to form a thick paste.

After dampening your skin, massage your face with this paste for 2-3 minutes. Wash off and see how clean your skin feels! This cleanser would not only prevent acne but would also cleanse and tighten pores. Moreover, it is highly effective in fighting excess oil production.

But in case your skin is dry or combination, you can substitute cucumber/tomato juice with fresh cream or raw milk.
